About us
Rooted in Vision. Evolved with Purpose.
Our journey began on 21st June 2019, when a group of seven passionate young individuals came together to rethink the way young people learn and grow. Inspired to address rising youth unemployment and depression, we founded AAaEEe with the dream of making education more empowering, inclusive, and human-centered. Over time, our community grew to include 11 core team members and a network of 200+ volunteers, directly reaching over 2000 youth and impacting more than 6000 indirectly. In 2024, this movement formally evolved into AAaEEe Empowers, registered as a Trust, continuing the spirit of the original initiative while expanding its impact. Today, AAaEEe Empowers works with government schools, adolescents, and youth across Karnataka, building ecosystems of skill, value, and career empowerment.

Our mission is to nurture spaces of experiential learning where young people can explore, evolve, and empower themselves and their communities — bridging 21st-century skill gaps through leadership, emotional intelligence, and purposeful action.
Why Do We Exist?
The Skill Mismatch: Preparing Youth for Careers and Life in an AI-Driven World
India’s youth face an increasing disconnect between traditional education and the demands of the modern world. With over 600 million young people under the age of 25, India’s potential lies in its youth. However, despite this demographic advantage, significant challenges remain:
Youth Unemployment
As of 2023, India’s youth unemployment rate is 15.79%, highlighting the widening gap between job opportunities and skill readiness (macrotrends.net).
Job Sustainability Crisis
Even when young people secure jobs, they often face high turnover rates. A recent report found that nearly 60% of entry-level employees in India struggle with a lack of emotional intelligence and essential soft skills, leading to job dissatisfaction, lack of engagement, and frequent job changes (india-skill-report.com).
Underemployment
Nearly 45.4% of youth are underemployed, engaged in jobs that do not utilize their skills or offer opportunities for growth, limiting their potential and economic impact (ft.com).
Mental Health Challenges
According to a 2023 study, 23.33% of schoolchildren and adolescents in India experience mental health issues, highlighting an urgent need for emotional resilience, self-awareness, and mental well-being (pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov).
